Gandhi described himself preeminently as a seeker of satya (truth), which could not be attained other than through ahimsa (non-violence, love) and brahmacharya (celibacy, striving towards God).
Gandhi's legacy lives on long after his death. In a modern world that is increasingly violent, his belief that one can accomplish great things without guns or hatred is worthy of close examination. As Gandhi once said, "Love of the hater is the most difficult of all. But by the grace of God even this most difficult thing becomes easy to accomplish if we want to."
My personal worldview is very much influenced by the idea of non-violence and the Gandhian Satyagraha notion of non-violent resistance. In my near complete film explores Gandhi’s legacy through the words of a follower of his idealistic revolution, Dr. Ron Harris, a pacifist himself.
