A dance aficionado herself, Suma Suresh's film is a short film about dance innovator Saveeta Sharma , who combines traditional with contemporary to create her own vocabulary in dance. The six minute teaser film is a record of Saveeta's training and preparation that goes into her dance productions. A teacher, choreographer and performer , Saveeta Sharma is writing "Her Chapter In dance".

On an April weekend, 10 filmmakers from the Algonquin Documentary Production program, met in the high hills of La Peche Qc. with the intent to shoot an action sequence. The film which they were shooting this for was a documentary called "The Lost Mutiny"; a movie documenting the folk story surrounding an East Indian queen.

In February of 2010, two filmmakers traveled to Sierra Leon with the hopes of making documentaries about African culture. Pumoi by director Reagan Sutherland, is a quick look at such culture, through the perspective of Sean Sullivan; a 20 year old enrolled in WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms).

Director Declan Edwards' first project for the Documentary Production program was hailed as a great success and entered into the mid year screening. The film is a portrait of Artist/DJ Dario Petruzzi.
