Karl Nerenberg

International award-winning documentary maker Karl Nerenberg is a television and radio producer, director, writer and composer. Karl has written, produced and directed television series and documentaries in a wide range of genres and on a great variety of subjects – from civil war in Central America, to the crisis in South Africa’s Apartheid system, to a series of portraits of colourful rural Canadian characters. In Production: "Never Come Back": a documentary in both theatrical-length and TV-hour versions. The film tells the story of the virtually unkown, and quite young, Roma community in Canada and connects it with the very harsh and deteriorating situation for the Roma in Central Europe.
Malcolm Hamilton

Script-to-screen documentary maker Malcolm Hamilton is a broadcast industry professional with extensive experience at both CBC and CTV having produced, directed and written more than 300 stories and short documentaries shot across Canada. Malcolm is a seasoned educator, he shoots and edits his own work bringing extensive production experience into the classroom.

Lisa Nault
Producer, production manager

Lisa Nault’s television career spans over one decade with credits on over one hundred hours of programming. She is currently producing W Network’s ALL FOR NOTHING?, a hybrid production that combines documentary-style storytelling with formatted lifestyle television. Lisa’s producing past includes the internationally renowned series JETSTREAM for Discovery, Paperny Films’ flagship doc series, KINK for Showcase and THE BLONDE MYSTIQUE, a one-off that dared to ask why are blondes so special?
Lisa has Production Manager credits on series such as THE WEEK THE WOMEN WENT for CBC and COMBAT SCHOOL for Discovery, as well as several one-off docs such as the Gemini Award-winning feature length documentary film, CONFESSIONS OF AN INNOCENT MAN for CTV and NFB and TRANSPLANT TOURISM for CBC.
Lisa has sat on the board of DOC BC and the steering committee for DOCTalk at the Whistler Film Festival. She has mentored young filmmakers through programs with the CFTPA and the NFB. Lisa graduated with Honors from the Broadcast Journalism program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Ottawa.

Thirty years of production experience in feature films, television series, broadcast specials, CD-ROM, interactive games, web sites, software applications, interactive video, exhibition kiosks, and DVDs.
Conceived, and helped to secure funding for many interactive and entertainment projects that have been distributed globally. Including: interactive games, mobile phone apps, children’s DVDs, interactive children’s web sites, animated videos and TV shows, and one of Canada’s first online classified web sites.
Solid understanding of interactive media; designed many small and large-scale interactive projects from paper based planning to final working deliverables.
Most recently completed development of an interactive children’s web site based on the popular Family Channel animated series “The Secret World of Benjamin Bear”. The site went live with Playhouse Disney Feb 2011
